The best time to visit Jim Corbett via these safaris is mornings and evenings. They have rides scheduled to that effect anyway. Vehicle and exploration restrictions depend on which of the five tourism Zones you choose to visit. You can select either Canter (this is offered only for the park’s core zone, namely Dhikala) or Jeep safaris. The Dhikala Zone is where you are most likely to spot the famed Royal Bengal Tiger. If you are staying at the forest lodge in Dhikala, you automatically become eligible to go on their jeep safaris. The remaining four Zones in the park are beautifully covered via this safari-type. Only six people are permitted per jeep, so plan your party accordingly. It’s all about animals, the ecosystem, and conservation. As such, only a handful of jeeps rove around in each zone at any given time. Respect Nature when you visit Jim Corbett National. The place is a testament to that very spirit. If you have been to some of the amazing restaurants in Jim Corbett, do not head over to this activity on a full stomach. You’ll find Class II and III rapids here, so come trained and ready if you wish to partake. Beginner and Professional alike will enjoy these rides.
